Insektisida Nabati dalam Bentuk Aerosol Terhadap Mortalitas Aedes aegypti

Demam berdarah dengue merupakan penyakit endemik di Indonesia. Dalam 10 tahun terakhir terjadi peningkatan kasus infeksi demam berdarah dengue sehingga dibutuhkan tindakan pencegahan berupa penggunaan insektisida. Insektisida dapat digolongkan menjadi insektisida nabati dan insektisida sintetik. Insektisida nabati lebih baik dibandingkan insektisida sintetik karena dapat diurai lingkungan dan aman bagi manusia karena berasal dari tanaman herbal. Penggunaan inseksitisda nabati dapat digunakan dalam berbagai bentuk. Dari sisi efektivitas dan pengaruh terhadap pengguna sediaan aerosol lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan sediaan lainnya. Indikator penilaian toksisitas suatu tanaman dapat berupa EC50, LC50 dan KT50 yang dapat menilai tanaman manakah yang paling kompetibel untuk dijadikan sebagai insektisida nabati. Tinjauan pustaka ini mengevaluasi efektifitas berbagai jenis insektisida nabati bentuk aerosol.
