Efek Latihan Aerobik pada Hasil Pemeriksaan Elektrodiagnostik dan Kualitas Hidup Pasien Neuropati Diabetikum

Neuropati diabetikum merupakan penyakit neuropati paling sering di dunia. Neuropati diabetikum merupakan penyakit yang seiring dengan progresivitas penyakitnya, maka gejala, hasil pemeriksaan elektrodiagnostik, dan kualitas hidupnya akan semakin memburuk. Beberapa studi menyatakan bahwa salah satu terapi yang dapat digunakan untuk memperlambat progresivitas penyakit neuropati diabetikum adalah latihan aerobik. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek dari latihan aerobik terhadap hasil pemeriksaan elektrodiagnostik dan kualitas hidup pasien neuropati diabetikum. Metode yang digunakan pada studi ini dengan cara pencarian artikel ilmiah berbasis data daring menggunakan Google Scholar, Science Direct, Proquest, dan Pubmed. Ditemukan 10 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi-eksklusi untuk dikaji pada literature review ini. Sebagian besar studi menyatakan bahwa latihan aerobik selama 8-12 minggu memiliki efek yang akan memperbaiki nilai hasil elektrodiagnostik dan perbaikan pada kualitas hidup pasien neuropati diabetikum. Latihan aerobik berdampak baik pada metabolik dan vaskular pasien yang akan mengontrol kadar glikemik pasien dan mengurangi keparahan neuropati diabetikum.
