Anatomi Klinis: Fondasi dalam Pembelajaran Residen Kedokteran Fisik Dan Rehabilitasi Di FKUI

Abstract

Introduction: Anatomical knowledge is a fundamental foundation in the practice of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (PRM). Residents in the Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine residency program require a deeper understanding of anatomy to establish diagnoses, provide comprehensive management, and accurately evaluate therapeutic outcomes in patients with physical and cognitive disabilities. However, many residents experience difficulties in learning anatomy due to limited study time, restricted access to cadavers, and a lack of innovation in learning methods. Purpose: To explore the level of clinical anatomical understanding, learning approaches, and clinical practice experiences among PRM residents as a basis for developing more effective learning strategies. Methods: A descriptive study involving 59 PRM residents at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia. Data were collected through anatomy quizzes and electronic questionnaires. Results: A total of 52.5% of respondents demonstrated clinical anatomy understanding with scores above the mean (66.32). Clinical-based learning methods were used by 42.4% of respondents, while 64.4% used integrative learning media. Additionally, 98.3% of respondents applied anatomical knowledge in daily physical examinations. Conclusion: Most respondents demonstrated a fairly good level of anatomical understanding, as reflected in their consistent application of anatomical knowledge in daily clinical practice. Nevertheless, there remains an opportunity to further enhance competence through continuous professional development, particularly in the field of clinical anatomy.
