Plagiarism Policy

Jurnal Kedokteran Meditek maintains zero-tolerance policy toward all forms of plagiarism, including direct copying without citation, improper paraphrasing, self-plagiarism, and "salami" publication. To ensure research integrity, all submitted manuscripts undergo mandatory screening using plagiarism-detection software. We are using Turnitin similarity checker software. For a manuscript to be considered for review, the similarity index must not exceed 25%.

The extent of plagiarism detected in the article follows the following categories:

• Minor plagiarism (short text overlap within the threshold) may result in a request for revision.
• Medium or major plagiarism (significant overlap or copied data) leads to immediate rejection.

If plagiarism is identified post-publication, the journal follows COPE guidelines to conduct a thorough investigation, which may result in a formal retraction to maintain the validity of the scientific record.
